Wildlife at the Log Cabin, Off Grid Security

Hi everyone, I'm Sean James from "My self reliance", welcome to my cabin I heard just a little bit of cracking

from the ice at the stream beyond I do not know if it came through the sun or that it was collapsing, or that it was an animal that ran over it Cali ran there I looked at it, and did not see anything, but let's take a look Last year during the summer Cali was not with me for the majority of the time So when the bears hung around here specifically those who stayed here all day looking at how I was building and later also the male who came in the fall Was not really a problem, I did not care that they were hanging around because Cali was not with me Now that she is there, she is full-time with me So there is more risk that she will encounter game like that It is quite an aggressive dog, amazing

she is very small for a golden retriever She also has a nice personality, but she can be quite aggressive, surprisingly enough So when she heard that sound she flew off So what I want to do now is to find out what kind of game this year hangs around this area and whether I have to "do" something with it or not

or that I must "discourage" them from staying in the vicinity of the hut This morning I saw fresh raccoon spores right in front of the door, they are sniffing So that is one animal that she will definitely come across My greater concern goes naturally to bears, wolves and coyotes

Animals like that, and even elk who live here in the area So I put down 4 trail cameras in the valley, In addition, I also installed some security cameras in the direction of the road where I have my truck so I'm going to keep using those trail cameras around my ground

for safety reasons, to be sure that no people come although I have never seen evidence for it But also to keep an eye on the wild animals that live here not just for safety but also for hunting I intend to do as much as possible

to hunt as aesthetic and legally as allowed to add to my food inventory for this year I'm certainly interested in it and I'm definitely going to keep an eye on the game

Let's look at those cameras and what we have spotted That explains it, it was the ice that fell because the water started to flow again

across the beaver the good thing is that there is a good amount of water in the stream so I can start again to collect my water here I want to continue isolating, if not today, then tomorrow if it warms up a little more it is now well above the freezing point, at this moment it is -2 degrees celcius

so about 30 degrees fahrenheit but ehm Yep, there's no game around now so let's take a look at the trail cameras to see if they've seen anything

do you see these traces? Thanks for your help Cali
